The Swatch Group Moves Into Building 1000, The Royals Business Park
This month, assisted by Gateway to London, The Swatch Group Ltd, the biggest watch manufacturer in the world, moved into Building 1000, The Royals Business Park, London. Swiss company, The Swatch Group, has taken approximately 12,000 sq ft of Building 1000, benefiting from its affordable rental fees and neighbouring London City Airport's connections to Switzerland and key European business destination.
The Swatch Group is now fulfilling plans to have London postcode and benefit from east London's regeneration. The Swatch Group was given extensive advice on east London business properties, grant availability and recruitment from Gateway to London and London foreign direct investment agency, Think London. The high quality prime office space at Building 1000 will accommodate 85 members of staff - mostly new starters - with a small number of relocated staff from Southampton.
