A Few Words from Aman Dalvi

Over the last six years, I have been privileged to work in the London Thames Gateway and see it significantly develop its potential as one of the world's leading locations for business. It has been a memorable journey, working with so many dedicated and committed people, all focussed on delivering opportunities for business and ensuring that Gateway to London provides the best possible inward investment service for the region.

There have been many successes during this time, and reaching the landmark of 10,000 created and retained jobs has to be the high point. This was a proud moment for everyone at Gateway to London, demonstrating just how important the agency's work is and how it makes a real difference to the local economy. I am confident that, under Sir Michael and John's stewardship, the success of Gateway to London and the London Thames Gateway will continue, and we will see many more companies attracted to this great region.

I would like to convey my gratitude and thanks to all of Gateway to London's partners and stakeholders for their support of the agency over the past six years. I have greatly enjoyed working with you all. So much of our and the region's success has been down to your involvement and backing, and I am sure you will continue to support the agency's efforts.

Lastly, I must say a big thank you to my dedicated management team, staff and board, whose talent, enthusiasm and hard work has been instrumental in developing London Thames Gateway's investment potential.

I look forward to continuing to work with many of you in my new role at Tower Hamlets, and am delighted to be able to contribute further to the regeneration of the London Thames Gateway.
