Mayor’s Business Awards to Celebrate Lewisham’s Finest

Lewisham businesses need to get their skates on if they want to enter the 2010 Lewisham Mayor's Business Awards which opened for entries earlier this month. Nominated businesses will benefit from exposure in the South London Press & Mercury; and the winner in the best company category - the top award - will win a cash prize of £5,000.

Companies can nominate themselves for one or more of the following categories: community involvement, best new company, growth business of the year, the young Lewisham apprentice (14-19 year olds), best pub, environmental award, enterprise achiever award, best employee award, the people's choice award, and best company.

All shortlisted businesses will be invited to attend a glittering night of networking to celebrate Lewisham's best business talent in the form of a gala event to announce the winners, held at the Blackheath Concert Halls on 11 March 2010.
