The future of innovation in London Thames Gateway

Innovation is blooming in London Thames Gateway and a number of exciting new schemes are already planned:

Queen Mary University, a college of the University of London, has received permission to go ahead with a £28m Biosciences Innovation Centre in Whitechapel (due for completion in 2008).

The initiative has been jointly developed with the LDA, along with the support of Thames Gateway funding from the Department for Communities and Local Government.

By 2010, 10,000 square metres of incubation space will be available from the London Thames Gateway region universities - the "10 by 10" project.
